Joe Corbin

“On any given night, one might find Joe Corbin playing a London bar, armed with a beaten up Fender Stratocaster, stomping on the stage with a boot-clad foot, singing the blues. He bears all when he plays and seems to be at home on any stage. It also seems that his relentless gigging has begun to turn heads on the London Music Scene. He enjoyed a riotous set at The Rye Jazz & Blues Festival, as main support for Wilko Johnson, of Dr. Feelgood fame. Classic Rock’s Blues Magazine named him ‘one to watch’ in 2015. Yet despite being a born performer, songwriting may be one of his biggest strengths. A lifelong fan of folk legends like John Martyn and James Taylor; and soul greats like Al Green and Otis Redding, simply “Blues” won’t quite do Corbin’s melancholic, melodic musical offerings much justice. However you hear it, Joe Corbin might just be a Blues voice for the 21st century.”
